08/11/2014 I am now in Merida and pretty busy planning my next steps getting down to the remote (and probably best) Maya ruins of Calakmul. That process leaves me with barely no time to update my blog right now, but at least I can get out some pictures from Quebec City!

Travelling from 03/11/2014 to End of January, 2015
I wanted to get this out much sooner, but combining traveling with the planning of next stops takes a lot time; especially when we are talking about a total of eight countries! I am flying from Toronto to Cancun tomorrow morning and can now finally present my first set of ideas of what to do in Central America. Check it out if you are interested in joining me for any parts or if you can perhaps give me some advice!

31/10/2014 I just arrived in Toronto and it will my last big city before heading down to Mexico on Monday. Before I get an report out regarding the urban areas of East Canada, I now just wanted to give you a quick update about my day at a farm near Quebec City and my first contact with guns. Also, do you have any ideas for a Halloween outfit for me? 🙂

28/10/2014 About a week ago, it was eventually time to leave New Brunswick and head towards Quebec City, hitch hiking all the way from Fredericton with a real nice Russian guy.

21/10/2014 The Bay of Fundy was one of my highlights prior to the trip. Getting there with two nice Couchsurfers, it certainly matched the expectations!

17/10/2014 This time I am updating you on my trip from a comfortable train with WIFI while it rains outside, certainly a good way to pass the time 🙂 I explored Halifax and surroundings in the last days, including Lunenburg and the main tourist attraction here: Peggys Cove’s Lighthouse. Besides of meeting a lot of great new people again, I also got very close to a little pug.

15/10/2014 I arrived in Nova Scotia on Monday using the ferry and my luck with the weather, hitch hiking and couchsurfers continues! Time for another quick update about the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton and the local L’Arche community before I’ll start to travel to Halifax.

12/10/2014 It’s my last day in Newfoundland and I just missed the ferry over to Nova Scotia due to a failed atempt of hitch hiking at 7am in the middle of a bank holiday weekend. Now I’m back in the Brewed Cafe in Corners Brook to summarize the last days here and in the Gros Morne National Park. You will see that coming in the autumn is really a good choice thanks to all the leaves changing their colours!

07/10/2014 Another few days passed and I have now left St John’s, arriving in Pasadena after 6 hours of hitch hiking with an upset trucker. Check the rest of the story!
