The past, the present, and the future

g_around_the_world_2Today is the beginning of a new chapter in my life. I quit my job, said good bye to friends and family in both Frankfurt and London and just arrived in Newfoundland, East Canada, starting my trip around the world for about three years. Russell Glacier Video from Greenland

#22_greenland_part1_russelglacier

I finally managed to cut another video! Due to the immense amount of clips from greenland (around 600…), I’m forced to split those into three main videos; the below being the first one following up on my recent trip report about our trek to the Russell Glacier in Greenland. Hope you enjoy watching it 🙂

Greenland Part I, Hike to the Russell Glacier

Travelled from 26/05/2013 to 29/05/2013 – Facebook Photo Gallery

A detour to the Russell Glacier is a common activity on the Arctic Circle Trail, allowing you to reach the inland ice of Greenland after a 25km hike from Kangerlussuaq. Joined by a total stranger, I am ready to go and full of excitement to set foot on the world’s biggest Island and last place to witness huge ice bergs outside of Antarctica.

Hitting the Riads in Morocco

Travelled from 19/06/2014 to 27/06/2014 – Facebook Photo Gallery

#21_moroccoMorocco will give you a good taste of the Arab culture with it’s vibrant markets, oriental cities and landscapes. I spent eight relaxing days in the country after three weeks of strenuous hiking in Greenland, using Airbnb for the first time and ending up in a great Moroccan riad in Marrakesh through it. Joined by my friend Reem, we explored Marrakesh, Tanger, Chefchaouen and Rabat together.
