Hello everyone and a very warm welcome back to Chris on Tour! It has been a long time since actively updating my travel blog, but with my second full time trip starting in October hopefully, I wanted to get my page back to life. Since I have built up a great audience on my Gaming Twitch channel “towertak3r” in the past year, I will use this platform to host an interactive travel show every Monday at 20:00 CEST! Check out this post for more details 🙂

Your Interactive Travel Show

The Idea behind my Travel Show is obviously to talk about anything travel related. Using Twitch as the Platform, it gives you the chance to interact with me in real time! I haven’t seen anyone else doing this so far and to be honest, I got no idea why! It seems like a great concept and I very much prefer it over traditional travel podcasts, in which you mostly only listen to a voice, without having a face to connect to and no way to interact.

In my new interactive travel show, I will present three topics each Monday from 20:00 CEST and you will have a chance to talk to me in the Twitch live chat. All topics will then be uploaded separately on my YouTube channel, so make sure to subscribe there to not miss any episodes you could not catch live 🙂 I am also really excited about the opportunity to invite guests on to my show – stay tuned for that for future episodes while I will cover the first ones on my own.

The content you will find on the Travel Show will be plentiful: Country-specific tips, travel industry news, tips & tricks on budget travel, gear recommendations or simply sharing my most exciting and adventures trips while showing you pictures and videos from my endless archives! I can guarantee that I will not run out of material any time soon, so it will be a great way to pass the current times where we are not able to travel as much as we would like to. The coolest part about it is that you can always ask questions and we will even have time for a general Q&A session for any other topics after each stream!

Episode #1 will air live on Monday, 15th of June!

To kick things off, I will already host the first session of my Travel Show tomorrow! All you have to do is head over to my Twitch channel www.twitch.tv/towertak3r, sit back and enjoy the show. You can watch the content there for free without having a Twitch account, but obviously you wont be able to use the chat without an Account. So i would recommend to sign up for a free Twitch account if you don’t have one – you might even find some other “IRL” channels there as well that will suit your interests! As you can see, Twitch is not only attracting gamers anymore 🙂

For the first episode, I will present the following topics – feel free to leave any questions in the comments here so I can address them live on air tomorrow.

First topic: “The Travel Show” Intro

Second topic: Travel after Corona

Third topic: Couchsurfing changes

All further episodes and their YouTube links will be collected in the new travel show page – feel free to bookmark it for future reference or just subscribe to my YouTube channel.

Thanks so much and I hope you will like my new travel show! See you tomorrow 🙂

Cheers,
Chris
