Australia Video

[25/07/2017] Perth is probably one of the most underrated cities in Australia. The capital of the South West also offers a lot of great locations within just a couple of hours drive away, which is basically around the corner for Australian standards! Check out this video for some of them 🙂

Live #44 – Australia trip to Perth and the South West Coast

The first stop on our Perth roadtrip that made it to my small video below was the Injidup Spa. Great rocky landscapes, combined with huge waves from the ocean and a great sunset made this one my favorite location. The nearby Sugarloaf Rock and Canal Rocks are also good stops for a visit on the way! Making our way to Margaret River, the main tourist hub in the area south of Perth, we decided to take a trip into the Lake Cave, a great day out exploring including some pretty interesting cave features.

Hitchhiking further to Pemberton, I could not resist the temptation to climb one of the huge trees in that area. I choose the 52m high Diamond Tree and actually had to think twice before going up in the pretty windy weather. A bit scary, since you are not secured on a rope and its really high, but totally worth it! Just go slowly and carefully 🙂 “The Gab” near Denmark was an amazing spot to see waves crushing against the rocks and the Two Peoples Bay near Albany is probably one of the best tucked-away beaches in the area. Not only does it look amazing, but there were barely any people around either! Last but not least, it took me two days to hitchhike to the Wave Rock on my way back towards Perth. An amazingly shaped rock that was worth all the effort getting there, including getting stranded in the Australian bush while hitchhiking. There is not a lot of traffic in that area, so dont expect to get a ride after 6pm!! 🙂
