Snow Hiking the Kepler Track in New Zealand was one of my highlights in my four months on the South Island. We had to make sure to be safe as well though and waited for the best weather window to do the roughly 5-6h long crossing through the deep snow. Let me know in the comments if you have done something similar and I hope you like my little New Zealand Nature Documentary!

My YouTube Channel has been around for a while, but I got to admit that I have never taken it very serious – until now! Doing a bunch of research, I am laying out on how I plan to grow my YouTube Channel in 2020. From my currently 200 Subscribers, I am trying to reach 1000 until Christmas this year. By following 5 basic rules, I hope to achieve that goal. Do you think I missed something very important?

[04/06/2014] After our stay in the magnificent Ilulissat Icefjord, we continued our journey down south through the Fjords of western Greenland to the little fishing village Sisimiut. From here, we would start of the toughest hike I have ever done in my entire life, walking the 170km long Arctic Circle Trail to Kangerlussuaq, stuck in waist deep snow for the first couple of days. [29/05/2014] In the second part of my Greenland video series, I will take you to the incredibly stunning Ilulissat Icefjord, a beautiful bay full of icebergs and also the location of my all time favorite campsite! [24/06/2012] Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti pleased us with some spectacular wildlife, especially when two cheetahs came up right to our car! We also got stuck with our jeep in a remote lion territory and did a side trip to Lake Natron and the local Maasai before ending the trip on the Island of Zanzibar with amazing beaches and Kite surfing. [16/06/2012] Climbing 5,895m high Kilimanjaro in Africa is a great introduction to the seven summits, being a technically easy trek. The altitude is not to be underestimated though and you can see in this video how it affected us on the Lemosho route. We could even witness a big tent flying away into the vast African plains, providing a rather unusual sight. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s time to fill this blog with content again! Let’s start with my latest video from April 2015, making my way from the rainy Fjords in Patagonia to the Island of Chiloé, tracking down the erupting Volcano Calbuco and finally walking and hitch hiking into ash-covered Argentina. All of that in just 12 minutes, in which you will also witness my transition from ridiculously long to very short hair 🙂 Read the rest of this entry »

Unfortunately, my Notebook is neither fixed nor replaced, leaving me unable to edit the new set of pictures from Uruguay. Fortunately though, I had this video already done and just put it online for the public. Join me in my motion pictures through the amazing Torres del Paine W-trek in Chile’s Patagonia, probably one of the best hikes our planet has to offer… Read the rest of this entry »
