Scotland Roadtrip 2013

23 Nov November 23

Region: Europe >> Great Britain
Travel time: 2013, March 23rd to April 7th

Coming up in exactly 120 days, my next travel destination will be Scotland from March 23rd to April07th, 2013 and I just finished to plan my route. I will rent a car and sleep in my tent, stopping along several spots to do 1-2 day walks in one of Europe’s greatest landscapes. Check the rest of this post if you think you might be able to give me some advice / improvements for my tour!

I will fly from London to Edinburgh and have 16 days to explore the country, driving anti clock wise as seen in the picture on the right side. Hey Chris! I came across your post on CS! The itinerary look amazing! I’ve stayed in Glasgow for 1.5 years and has visited parts of Scotland, but most of the places that you’ve posted are so stunning and I’ve yet to visit these places! I’m a student with Glasgow University and I’m currently finalising my plans for Easter break, I will love to join part of your trip if I can make it!

Hey! I am from Skye, saw your post on CS. Unfortunately I won’t be able to host you (staying with parents at the moment) but if you need any local knowledge (I can at least attempt to answer questions…) or you guys want to meet up while you are on the island let me know. Also, if I’m not working I would be keen to join you on Old Man of Storr/Rubha Hunish as these are two of my favourite walks. Cheers

Uff it was a really great trip but just like about 30 other trips, I have had no time to go through the pics and vids yet 🙁 Traveling keeps me busy, maybe in 10 years i will be able to catch up on all the old trips 🙂 At some point I will get a report about Scotland out for sure! I have a lot of nice pics from that trip.

Edit: I uploaded a few pics already, in case you missed them:
