My second travel tales short form video features the Bloukrans Bridge Bungee Jump in South Africa, one of the highest bridges you can take off and plunge 216m towards the ground! A truly “breathtaking” experience which sadly ends very fast again! If you are into adrenaline stuff, I highly recommend this quick stop over literally right on the garden route.

New Zealand is a mecca for outdoor freaks and you will not be disappointed in the countless hikes and treks available. Taking it to the next level is a helicopter ride over the Franz Josef Glacier and I will never forget the amazing views on deep crevasses on a perfect sunny day! ?

In this short video, I am sharing some of my Hitchhiking experiences from the USA. After struggling to get a ride near Escalante due to the proximity of a high-security prison, an elderly former NASCAR racer called Crazy Joe rescued me and let me stay in his shed near the prison. Followed up with a new ride next morning turning into my personal tour guide, these experience make up for my first short-video “Travel Tales” format 🙂

Next up in my introduction series is the tiny country of Brunei, locked in between Malaysia on Borneo Island in Southeast Asia. It’s capital Bandar Seri Begawan showcases one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen in Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque. Check out this video for some Impressions from the mosque, some of the beautiful sunsets over there as well as a sneak peak in the local street food culture.

Belize is a small country in Central America, beautifully located in the Caribbean Sea. It’s a great spot for just chilling out on the pretty beaches and just “taking it slow” – but you can also opt in for a Yacht tour out on the ocean to swim with harmless nurse sharks! ? Check out this part of my new “Impressions from” short-video series and let me know what you think of it!

I am kicking off the new “Top Highlights” series with my very first “longer” trip back in 2013 when I was not yet traveling full time. I did manage to get two months of (unpaid) holiday signed off and this trip pretty much laid the foundation for my decision to quit my job in 2014. Traveling through South America for 2 months gave me enough time to explore three countries: Ecuador, Peru & Bolivia. Check this post for my South America Highlights of that area!
