It’s time to announce my next trip in Europe! Starting in Athens, Greece, I will make my way up towards the north through all of the Balkans. The flights are booked and I will have exactly one month to see everything. Especially Greece offers some incredible spots that I actually didn’t know about before! Check out this post to see some pictures 🙂

Travelling from 24/02/2016 to 23/03/2016

I will touch down in Athens on February 24th and spent a few days there before heading to Mycenae with a stop at the Epidaurus Theatre. The next destination was previously unknown for me and looks absolutely amazing! It’s called Zakynthos and you can do Paragliding there, see the endangered loggerhead turtle lay their eggs, do diving or just walk around the amazing bay including even a shipwreck! Wow – simply can’t wait to get there 🙂

Afterwards I will visit Delphi, the Vikos Gorge and finally the highlight of Greece: Meteora!! This place was actually the only item on my worldwide “ToDo” list for Greece and I can’t wait to explore it. I am currently gathering some feedback from locals on spots in between my destinations, if you have something that I should check out as well, please don’t hesitate to put it in the comments below!

After about a week in Greece, I will then make my way north to Macedonia, the Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and finally Romania, from where I will fly out on the 23rd of March (after another quick detour to Ukraine) to make it back home to Germany just in time for the Easter holiday 🙂 Let’s hope spring will come out early this year!!

Those are the places I plan to see. Probably I will skip some and add others along the way, we’ll see… 🙂
