LAS POZAS Surrealist Garden 🌿 in XILITLA and exploring the SALITRE CAVE (Mexico Travel 2021)

xilitla

📅 May 4th, 2021 ▶️ The next amazing mountain village on my path was Xilitla in San Luis Potosi State. It is famous for Edward James’ Las Pozas Surrealist Garden, which sadly had been a bit disappointing for me and I will explain to you why in this video. Next to the gardens, I also explored Salitre Cave full of green parrots! 🙂 Let me know what you think about Las Pozas in the comments if you have visited Mexico in 2021 as well.

CABIN IN THE WOODS 🌲 Rio Verde & HITCH HIKING to dry TAMUL WATERFALL [Huasteca Potosina Mexico 2021]

tamul waterfall

📅 May 2nd, 2021 ▶️ In this episode of my Mexico 2021 trip, I am taking you on my hitch hiking journey to the incredible Tamul Waterfalls in the Huasteca Potosina area of San Luis Potosi state. Unfortunately, they have been dry and as I found out later, it will stay that way because the water was cut off from the river and it is not only related to the big draughts in the country. The video is also about the unexpected events you can expierence while hitch hiking. From being invited to a Cabin in the woods near Rio Verde to delivering flowers and riding pick up trucks, if you like hitch hiking you should check it out!

JOYA HONDA meteorite crater hike and overnight camp ⛰️ SAN LUIS POTOSI (Mexico 2021)

JOYA HONDA

📅 May 1st, 2021 ▶️ I had an excelent time hiking the meteorite crater Joya Honda (Cráter la Joya Honda), situated less than an hour ago from San Luis Potosi. After enjoying the sunset togehter with my Couchsurfing friends from city, I spent the night completely alone on the 800m wide and 200m deep crater. Seeing a clear night sky and all the starshas been incredible after all the cities in the last week and I even had the time to walk the entire rim for around 5,5km! Hope you like the video 😄

GUANAJUATO City in 2021 🦴 Museum of the Mummies of Guanajuato, Beautiful streets & Hiking Trails

guanajuato

📅 April 28th, 2021 ▶️ I can’t wait to share this video about Guanajuato City with you guys, my absolute favorite of all the cities I have seen in my time here in Central Mexico! It offers so many beautiful streets and buildings to stare at, great hiking trails in the nearby mountains and the incredibly bizzare Musuem of the Mummies! I could not help but extent my time there and stay two full days. I did a lot of Hyperlapses again and would be really curious to hear from you in the comments if you want to keep seeing them or if it is perhaps a bit too much? Muchas gracias, Amigos! 😄

SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE in 2021 ✈️ the prettiest PUEBLO MAGICO near Mexico City?

San Miguel de Allende

📅 April 27th, 2021 ▶️ On my next stop during my Mexico 2021 Trip, I enjoyed the beautiful town of San Miguel de Allende. Possible the prettiest of Mexico’s Pueblo Magicos, located just 270km northwest of Mexico City. The main attractions here are the gorgeous colorful streets as well as the Parroquia San Miguel Arcángel Church, which was actually inspired by a European Gothic Church and finished in the 19th century. What is your favorite Pueblo Magico in Mexico? Let me know in the comments below! 🙃

Peña de Bernal & Querétaro Mexican Cities [Mexico City Day Trips]

Peña de Bernal & Querétaro

📅 April 2021 ▶️ In my second video of my Mexico 2021 trip, I will show you the beautiful towns of Bernal and Querétaro, both very close to Mexico City! Peña de Bernal is one of the pueblo magico and the rock that can usually be climbed. Due to Corona restrictions, the waiting time was too long though and we skipped it. Querétaro is much larger, but still has some cool spots to see like the Querétaro Aqueduct “Los Arcos”. The absolute highlight of my time there was spending the sunset at a private pool house of my Couchsurfing host! Had a blast checking out the Slow motion features of my new Action Camera 😆

Mexico City Travel in 2021 (travel without quarantine)

mexico city beer

📅 April 2021 ▶️ Mexico City Travel in 2021: I had been waiting for a year to travel again and with the USA being far ahead in their vaccination program, I decided to hike the Pacific Crest Trail this year! The issue is that I could not enter while being present in the EU within 14 days prior to the trip. Going to Mexico first allows me to enter the USA and it is also one of the few countries to travel without quarantine. I have never been to the central part of Mexico, so it was a great option to kick off my new 2021 trip around the world! This first episode covers everything I experienced in my first week here in Mexico City, from cervezas to landmarks.

Yucatán Peninsula Travel Highlights in Mexico

yucatan mexico

📅 November 2014 ▶️ The Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico is filled with amazing places to visit. If you like diving, you might even want to check out some of the mindblowing diving options from cenote to cenote. I have only done the snorkeling option, but even that was already super nice! Add a bunch of old Mayan temples, and you’ve got yourself a great little holiday 😄
